My recent stay at Victoria Studios on Spetses Island left me with mixed feelings about the overall experience. Christos and Marina, the owners, were genuinely kind and attentive hosts, ensuring our room was impeccably clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The inclusion of amenities such as air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and daily housekeeping was a definite plus. The trek from the harbor to the hotel was arduous due to the narrow, bustling paths frequented by motorbikes, causing noise and safety concerns. However, the room itself was a cozy retreat with a pleasant balcony overlooking the pool and offering a glimpse of the gulf - a rare find on the island.While the absence of breakfast was a downside, the nearby bakery and the provision of an electric kettle in the room somewhat made up for it. The pool area was a highlight, offering a relaxing space with sun loungers and beach umbrellas. Ultimately, if you prioritize a warm hospitality and basic amenities over a convenient location, Victoria Studios could be a suitable choice for a budget-conscious stay on Spetses Island.
